I combine creative, contemporary photography with a rapid yet unobtrusive natural reportage style. I don't like the cheesy grins so often seen in photographs so I aim to make all my photographs look natural and relaxed.
If you don't like to pose for photos and would rather have purely reportage coverage, perhaps with a few family group photos as well, that is absolutely fine - I often get asked to do just that. On the other hand if you love being in front of the lens and want something just a little bit different I can do that too. Check out my wedding gallery page to see examples of both.
I have the Licentiate Award (LRPS) of the Royal Photographic Society.
Give me a call or email me to arrange a portfolio viewing or to find out price details for my various packages. There is no obligation and don't worry if you have not decided what type of photography you want, I am still happy to have a chat and hopefully give you some ideas. If you phone and I am with a client please leave a message, I will return your call as soon as I can - don't forget the date of your wedding so that I can check if I am still available.

Oh yes, sorry my name! I'm Roger, nice to meet you! Thats me on the bridge. I sometimes have an assistant, often Caroline who also doubles as my wife. If you worry about having a guy photograph your wedding let me put your mind at rest - I only take photos, even getting ready photos, when you are ...err... dressed! Shots like "doing up the dress" are faked - it only takes 30 seconds! When you actually "get dressed" I just go twiddle my thumbs some place. Most of my clients have getting ready coverage but you don't have to.

Yes thats me again, up another mountain skiing this time. I'm a hopeless skier but I love it while Caroline loves après-skiing, holding her skis, buying new ski outfits, writing postcards, taking pictures of me, you get the idea. Below is Caroline about to trash one of my Nikon F100's. Was it something I said? Love you honey, now please step away from the camera!

Below is yet another one of me, well this page is about me, Caroline can go write her own page! Italian alps this time with my Hasselblad, the traditional camera of choice for many a wedding photographer before digital stormed onto the scene. Still a beautiful camera and the best thing since sliced bread for mountian landscapes like this one but alas too slow for my style of modern reportage wedding photography (sigh!). WHOOOSH CLICK! If you own a Hasselblad you know what I mean, if you don't then you probably think I'm crazy!
